The Tracewell Rugged Blade System (RBS) is an ideal choice for demanding US Department of Defense class, military and aerospace applications that need the advanced data processing capabilities of the IBM BladeCenter® in a small form factor package designed to withstand the impact of extreme environments. It is specifically engineered for customers who want to take advantage of the benefits of COTS-based blade technology solutions but must have a form factor that meets specific size, weight, power and environmental requirements. The RBS is available in both 3 and 5 slot configurations in 3 standard levels of ruggedization, and in fully custom designs to meet a variety of requirements.
